District 8 Councilmember Larry Carr Endorse Mai Vang for City Council

Lifelong mentor and current representative for District 8, Councilmember Larry Carr announced his full and whole-hearted endorsement for Mai Vang to be his successor for the City Council seat he has held for the last 6 years. 

“I’ve talked with many interested in running for City Council, but there is only one who stands above the rest -- Mai Vang. I’m supporting Mai because I know she will continue my legacy of bringing together the broad coalition of neighborhood leaders, community voices, and civic organizations necessary to improve South Sacramento. Mai will never waver in fighting to deliver real and lasting opportunities, public investments and a better quality of life to our South Sacramento neighborhoods.”
