Statement from Black Women Organized for Political Action - Sacramento:

Black Women Organized for Political Action has accepted the call to action to inform our community about candidates seeking office and their potential impact on the issues central to African American women,” said Kula Koenig, President of the Sacramento Chapter. “We value candidates who are serious about social justice.We want leaders who are willing to take bold steps in building a Sacramento County where marginalized communities can exercise their power for equity and justice.”  

We are incredibly happy and excited to announce our endorsement of the following candidates for the upcoming March 2020 Sacramento County elections. Reminder, we have the power to change our communities, so make sure to get out and vote!”

I'm incredibly humbled and thankful to receive the endorsement of Black Women Organized for Political Action and its Sacramento chapter. My life's work is dedicated to fighting for marginalized communities and working towards greater equity and justice.
