Over 50 volunteers from the Sacramento County Young Democrats came out to support Mai Vang to build on their monumental endorsement. If elected, Mai Vang would be the first Millennial elected to Sacramento City Council. Despite being only 35, Mai brings over 12 years of community organizing and public policy experience. She is also the youngest person ever elected to the Sacramento City Unified School Board.
