State Constitutional Officers Fiona Ma & Betty Yee Endorse Mai Vang

Breaking News: We're so excited to announce that California State Treasurer Fiona Ma and California State Controller Betty Yee have endorsed Mai Vang for Sacramento City Council.

As the two highest ranking elected Asian American women in California, these incredible API Womxn have helped lead California for decades. As candidate Mai Vang described, “Growing up in Sacramento my entire life, seldom do you see people that look like me in positions of power. To have the support of State Controller Yee & State Treasurer Ma is a honor and privilege. It’s also a responsibility that I do not take lightly. For me, it’s a call to action to work as hard we possibly can to shatter glass ceilings.”

State Treasurer Ma and State Controller Yee join an extensive list of community and elected leaders that have endorsed Mai Vang for City Council. These leaders include Assemblymember Kevin McCarty, Sacramento Pro Tem Angelique Ashby, Vice Mayor Jeff Harris, Councilmember Allen Warren and current District 8 Councilmember Larry Carr.
